Deny User
- If the information doesn’t match; the ID is not readable; there is no selfie – you will need to reach out to the user and ask for usable photos. Email or text them that to approve the temporary account, they will need to provide a clear photo of their ID or whatever they are missing. If they do not respond, deny the account.
- If they have a transaction history, be sure to include that if they don’t provide the requested information, you will have to deny their temporary account and they will lose access to their passes.
- If they are under 18, they should automatically be denied as a user. Let them know that minors can not have their own Pit Pay/Kart Pass account and must have a parent or guardian add them as a minor. If they have transaction history, this is not a valid pass. There is a message template in Front for this
- We have put extra modals in place for them to certify they are over 18.
- Once you have denied the user, you will have to locate them and make them inactive to truly deny them.
- Make note of any trends you see on IDs not scanning – like if there are a bunch of Missouri IDs or West Virginia to let Bobby know.
